I am a Project and Engineering Leader with more than 20 years of experience delivering and supporting complex capital projects across Canada, the Middle East and Southeast Asia. My career has included project and engineering management, technical procurement, EPC execution, proposal development and Owner’s Engineer / PMC responsibilities.

In Canada, my work has focused on engineered EPC solutions and fluid-handling systems for water and wastewater, municipal infrastructure, flood control, mining and industrial applications. Earlier international assignments included refinery and oil & gas programs, oil depot infrastructure, desalination, power generation and industrial utilities.

I work at the intersection of engineering, project controls, procurement, commercial management and stakeholder coordination. I value clear scope definition, disciplined execution, practical risk management, strong interfaces and accountable handover.

   Nov 2015 – Present · Mississauga, Canada

   Lead multidisciplinary EPC projects across water, wastewater and industrial sectors, from FEED and engineering through procurement, fabrication, construction support, commissioning and start-up, for municipal, flood control, mining and industrial applications.

2. Process Units Project Coordinator, Petro-Techna International (PTIL)
   Jan 2013 – Oct 2015 · Mississauga, Canada

   Supported EPC oil & gas and energy projects, including early production facilities, refinery and LNG-related facilities and water treatment, with technical and commercial proposal development, engineering coordination and project planning across the Middle East, North Africa and North America.

3. Procurement Technical Manager, IODC Sdn Bhd
   Jul 2009 – Nov 2012 · Malaysia

   Managed technical procurement for refinery, oil & gas, petrochemical and water EPC projects, covering vendor prequalification, specifications, bid evaluations and supplier selection.

4. Engineering Manager, Oil Design and Construction Company & SINOPEC JV
   Apr 2007 – Jun 2009 · Middle East

   Led engineering for selected units of the Shazand Refinery Revamp and Development Program, a major EPC program of approximately $4.5B.

5. Project Manager, Oil Design & Construction Company (ODCC)
   Mar 2005 – Apr 2007 · Middle East

   Managed EPC execution of the Ardebil New Oil Depot, a $200M grassroots project including oil storage facilities, pump stations and utilities, from engineering through commissioning.

   Oct 2001 – Feb 2005 · Middle East

   Progressed from Engineering Manager to Project Manager on water treatment, desalination and energy EPC projects, including six turnkey 7,500 m³/day desalination plants, and NGL and combined-cycle power facilities.

Leadership and delivery approach

My focus is practical project delivery: bringing engineering, procurement, contractors and stakeholders together to address technical and commercial challenges and keep complex projects moving. I have worked across the full project lifecycle, from concept and FEED through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, with owners, EPC / EPCM contractors, PMC organizations, engineering teams and suppliers.
